KC Imperial Beach Deck and Fence was started in 2016 by a crew that grew up in the South Bay and knew this area well - the compact lots, the older postwar homes, and the constant salt air coming off the Pacific. We saw a gap between what homeowners here needed and what most contractors were offering, and we decided to fill it.
Imperial Beach is one of the southernmost cities in California, right at the Pacific Ocean. Homes here were mostly built between the 1950s and 1980s on small lots, and the ocean is rarely more than a few blocks away. Every project has to account for what salt air does to hardware, what the city permit process looks like, and how to work efficiently on a tight lot without disrupting the neighbors.
Since 2016, we have completed projects across Imperial Beach and 11 surrounding communities - custom decks, composite builds, vinyl fencing, pergolas, and covered patio covers.
